Σ1 (SYGMATURE) is a compilation of modern atmospheric music, a milestone of radio.syg.ma’s year of existence. Twenty two international artists, musicians and producers who contributed to the radio took part in this release.

Featured artists present different styles and approaches to recording soundscapes, inspired by experimental ambient, field recordings, electroacoustic, musique concrète and low-fi electronics. Sounds and atmospheres they create range from futuristic, distorted or high-pitched to more meditative and somewhat esoteric.

This is the first release in series of compilations curated by radio.syg.ma and made possible due to contributions and donations.
